Skirmish Paintball Norfolk Closes due to heavy rain
One of the coldest and wettest winters in Norfolk lead to the closure of Skirmish Paintball Norfolk on the 28th of February 2010.
On arrival at the paintball site Matt Hart found that the river was already lapping at the sides of the bridge on the track to the paintball site, by the time the staff arrived nearly a foot of water was running over the bridge. With 60 paintball players plus a walk on game at the paintball venue the difficult decision to close the site had to be taken. After reviewing the weather forecast for Norfolk which showed heavy rain for the whole day, it was decided to close Skirmish’s Norfolk Paintball venue for the day.Customers were offered the choice of going to the Norwich Paintball venue, rearranging their paintball day, or a full refund.A spokesman for Skirmish Paintball Norfolk said “we are sorry to have had to close are Norfolk Paintball venue, but we did not know if we would have been able to safely remove the paintball players from the site at the end of the day” On Arrival looking towards the road.......The track from the road later ................Getting higher
