Based just outside Cardiff in Cowbridge, we offer family days out, corporate teambuilding sessions, or even an unforgettable stag or hen weekend. PAINTBALL - LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN... You're crouched inside a wooden hut, squeezed into a corner to minimise yourself as a target. All is silent, save for the sound of your own breathing - a sound you've perhaps never been aware of. You hear yourself swallow as your stomach twists itself into another knot. Your senses are heightened like never before and you hear other noises: as whisper, the slightest of rustles, the cracking of a twig. Your palms are moist and clammy as the comforting grip of the butt of your carbine tightens. Your throat constricts. Another surge of adrenaline courses through your veins. Your eyes stare, searching the undergrowth. Its still, then suddenly trembles. A menacing masked face stares back. You're hypnotized in its glare. BLAM! The shot whines past your ear and snaps you out of your trance. The butt of your carbine fits snugly into your shoulder as you draw a bead on your assailant WHAM! You squeeze off a round of return fire. You miss, but only just. You've unnerved him and he breaks for cover, diving to his left. For a split second he's fully exposed, but you're ready. BLAM! There is a satisfying thwack and an explosion of vivid colour as your shot finds its target.

All around mayhem has broken out. Yells, whoops and shrieks fill the air. A deafening bang, followed by plumes of thick red smoke. Shots crack and whistle all about. This is not an excerpt from a war correspondent but describes a typical few minutes at the Taskforce Skirmish paintball site, just west of Cardiff, South Wales

Even if you've played Paintball before, aside from a real battle front, no where has an atmosphere even approaching that at the TASKFORCESKIRMISH paintball site at Cowbridge.

The site is not a field with a few crates strewn about, but it is a dedicated Paintball combat arena. With thirty acres of bunkers, a village, a real helicopter, a bridge, with adjacent aerial walkways, a decent imitation of a nuclear bunker, a munitions dump, tree houses and many other features which make for an exciting, exhilarating and fun-packed day out.

We also cover many more outdoor activities including archery, laser tag, teambuilding command tasks, laser clay pigeon shooting and we also arrange stag & hen outdoor activities.

Let us know the date you would like to play, in the event that this date is already fully booked, we'll let you know what dates are available.

• Once a date has been confirmed we will send you out a booking form giving details of when deposits are due, and full directions of how to get to the site.
• A deposit of £10 per person will be required 3 weeks in advance of the activity booked.
• Deposits must be paid by the date detailed on your booking form, or the places you have reserved may be released for others wishing to book on this date.
• Your booking can be secured by paying deposits over the telephone by most leading credit cards, switch, or by posting a cheque.
• Paintball minimum age is 11 years old
• Laser Tag, Teambuilding, Archery minimum age is 8 years old
• Clay pigeon shooting (using live ammunition) minimum age 16 years
• Laser Clay pigeon shooting & Falconry minimum age 14 years
• WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU WEAR STRONG OUTDOOR BOOTS OR SHOES, FOOTWEAR WITH GOOD TREAD AND ANKLE SUPPORT
